GREAT READS
I love to read and refer on great reads to others. Here's a few of interest.
REWIRE FOR SUCCESS
Vannessa McCammley
I first met the author of REWIRE for SUCCESS in 2020 and was awed with her knowledge, positivity and general approach to the world in which we live. Needless to say once I heard REWIRE for SUCCESS was coming, my interest was immediately sparked and I was not disappointed. REWIRE is an easy to read and digest way to simply understand the reasoning behind why we behave the way we do, complimented with how to look at ways to address and manage it on your own terms.
START WITH WHY
Simon Sinek
Simon Sinek (and this book) have been bouncing round for over a decade and was one of those books that I was "late to the party". When I finally go to it, I kicked myself I'd just "yeah yeah'd" all those before me. Whether you read this as a business person, or just someone who wants to better understand their own Why, this is a great read. I recommend pausing as you go to digest and think.
THE GIFTS OF IMPERFECTION
Brene Brown
If you've met up with me for a beer or a coffee over the past 12months, you won't have escaped me talking about Brene Brown. It's hard to choice a favourite book, but here's a great place to start. I have read and "audiobooked" my way through most of her stuff to date and believe that her take on vulnerability is the basis of a society and a world I think we need to aim for.
